This basket appeared to have everything we wanted in a picnic basket. Places for everything, utensils, bottle holder, etc. But the wicker construction is where the basket really lacked. The top hinged covers do not line up well, and therefore the leather snap-close doesn't work well. The main compartment turned out to be too small for us. Maybe for sandwiches and a couple pieces of fruit this would be fine. But we wanted to haul a little more and it just doesn't hold a lot. Not my best purchase from Amazon.

i love the actual basket but the plates and things inside look cheap...the basket is pretty and has great fruction with the two wine bottle places

I purchased this basket for a day trip and am so pleased. It is the perfect size for a lunch for two. It has leather straps in the interior to keep the small wine glasses and plates firmly in place while traveling. It even has a wine bottle opener included. The basket is well made but small enough to carry easily on an excursion.
