Love it July 29, 2010 roses 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love the little book light. The only thing is that I was promised batteries and they were not in the box.
The push button switch is low quality July 28, 2010 Lindsey 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've been on the quest for a good book light for a very long time. Usually they start off OK, but dim considerably after just a few hours of use and also have dark spots in the corners of the page. This light does NOT have that problem. It is very bright, it easily illuminates two full pages of a large hardcover novel with no dark spots. It's easy to read by. I love the flexible neck and the big clip that can fasten over multiple pages and holds like a champ. The problem is the switch. It is a push button that does not work reliably. Sometimes you have to push the button ten times to turn it on or off, the other night I spent a half an hour fiddling with the stupid thing before I finally got a screw driver and removed the battery. Of course, by the time I did that, I was no longer relaxed enough to sleep. This book light would be perfect if the switch worked. I'm really disappointed.
Too dim July 26, 2010 M. Hobbs (San Diego, CA United States) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Nice flexibility with the bendy neck, but changing the battery didn't make it any brighter. I had to move the light down the page as I read, and even on paperbacks the light didn't spread all the way across the page. I'd rather wear a headlamp than unclip the light every time I need to turn the page anyway.
Piece of garbage-arrived broken July 23, 2010 S.W.W. 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
Arrived broken, only 1 of the 2 LED lights lit up, made very little to no difference. Do not buy. Would have given 0 stars.
Great light for $9 for Kindle DX July 22, 2010 kam13 (NC United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this for $9, free shipping, and am happy with it for what I paid. It's bright, easily lights the entire Kindle DX screen. It clamps onto the corner of my Kindle firmly. The 2 lights do create a glare on the kindle screen, but I suspect that would be the case with any light. It's very lightweight, it's portable, it was $9, and it works as described. I'm happy with it and would recommend it to others.
