I like that this scale uses AAA batteries. I had a similar glass scale but it required special disk batteries and they didn't last worth a hoot. I would recommend this scale. I just wish that it wouldn't be so accurate...now I have to go on a diet.

Great product for the price. I original thought the scale did not come with batteries, but customer service quickly emailed me and told me where to find them, something I did not expect them to do! So great service with great price.

i am very please with this scale i stepped on it 4 times in a row and i got the same weight everytime not even an ounce off. but i am finding a little trouble getting it to turn on. when i got the scale the box want messed up at all even with the horrible weather nothing was wet i am very happy and i recommend them to anyone

I purchased the EatSmart Digital Bathroom Scale w/ Extra Large Backlit 3.5" Display and Oversize Platform, Black due to some positive reviews from customers but I returned it after physically evaluating it that it looked incredibly fragile, and that the glass scale was especially hard to see at night and I accidentally bumped to it, but then the display light turns on, knowing it is there, unfortunately after bumping it when it is extremely dark in the room. The sensors are inappropriately arranged so it makes it very awkward for me to step on it to get the exact reading of my actual weight. The scale may look attractive, but the glass surface is quite intimidating knowing that it is hard to see where the scale is when the lighted display is off. The only advantage is that the scale itself looked quite attractive with the lighted display as I wish that all digital scales would have that feature so it is easy to see the weight displayed on the scale especially at night when the lights are off. If you like that scale, by all means, purchase it, but I highly recommend that you see other scales first, that are more functional than this EatSmart Digital Bathroom Scale.
