Terrible Coffee February 26, 2010 For Ever Thrifty (DOVER, PA, US) This Senseo Coffee is so weak, it doesn't even taste like coffee. All 4 flavors are not fit to drink. I even used 2 pods at a time, and it still did not make a desent 6oz cup of coffee.
Am I missing something or what. I don't see how they contue to sell this product.
We like our coffee much stronger then this. I bought Paul Newman's Special Blend, Medium Roast, Extra Bold (K-cups), made by Green Mountain Coffee. We love it. One K-cup makes a 10oz cup of Good Coffee.
Senseo Coffee Pods February 16, 2010 Marilyn Otterson I enjoy trying the different varieties of Senseo coffee pods offered here and like the darker, stronger blends for my first in the morning cup. One thing I'd like to note is that Senseo coffee makers take two pods per cup, while other brands of pod coffee makers make a strong cup with just one pod making each cup less expensive. The only difference is that most of the other coffee makers do not make foam. We put our Senseo maker in the basement for an emergency and prefer to use Senseo coffee pods with our Mr. Coffee Home Cafe coffee maker that uses only one pod and makes great coffee.
you have to use 2 pods February 7, 2010 William Clinton (Arkansas) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Didnt know that ahead of time. First cup came out and looked like chicken broth...
Meh February 2, 2010 D. Berning (WA) This is not "good" coffee; it has more in common with instant coffee than I like. The espresso and dark pods aren't too bad but the kenyan and sumatran blend have undeniable instant coffee flavor.
Great coffee January 30, 2010 R. Payne (Princeton, Texas USA) If you are looking to sample the Senseo coffee pod flavors, this is a good way to start. You will probably find a favorite in this group, and then you can order your favorite individually. All of Senseo coffee products have been a good buy for me--I like the flavor of the coffee and the price through Amazon.com with free shipping.
